Darcy Thiele is a professional engineer and MBA with over 30 years of experience.  He worked the first part of his career in the areas of wellbore construction, upstream oilfield, oil refining, piping and facility construction and with the boiler and pressure equipment regulatory agency.  After gaining significant experience in these areas, Darcy’s entrepreneurial spirit drove him to start his own consulting business and serve in the roles of director or officer for various private and public corporations.

Darcy and his wife, Laurie were both born and raised in Regina.  They are deeply rooted in the province and dearly love Saskatchewan.  They have three kids (ages 20, 18 and 15) who they currently relish watching quickly enter adulthood and begin embarking on careers such as Engineering and Optometry – careers with which they will hopefully soon choose to stay and benefit the people of Saskatchewan.

Darcy has been increasingly concerned with the gross degeneration of the once-strong party that currently forms the Saskatchewan government.  Driven by the need to preserve the richness and strengths of this province for his children and future grandchildren he has joined the Sask United Party which shares his strong values – values that the current government seems to have lost.

Darcy strongly believes it is time for himself and other moral and talented people driven by their love of this province to form a new government able to revitalize and provide prosperity and health to the people.  Darcy will serve the people in his riding with integrity and looks forward to supporting Jon Hromek and the Sask United Party in getting Saskatchewan back on track.
