Joshua Bloom

Lloydminster

Josh was born and raised in the small community of Turtleford, on a multi-generation family farm. Josh spent most summers volunteering at summer camp and helping on the family farm.   A year after high school he spent two years in Sydney Australia attending college in music and audio production. While attending college he was a leader of volunteer street teams to help out in underprivileged parts of Blacktown and Minchinbury suburbs of Sydney.

After finishing his diploma in creative arts, he came back home to Turtleford, and found work in the Oil and Gas industry. Never scared of a hard day of work or a new challenge he helped to start up an Oilfield construction and maintenance company which he is involved with to this day. While working full time he took power engineering classes and power labs at Lakeland College in the evening to get his 4th class power engineering License.

Josh believes in traditional, family-first values. Fourth born of six, He is part of a tight-knit family that meets regularly for family meals and all help out on the family farm whenever they can. Josh enjoys spending time with his Nieces and Nephews watching them play any of the many sports they’re involved in, and cheering for them when they win provincial championships. Always willing, Josh has helped out whenever asked in his local community.

From a young age, music has been a passion and Josh has used that love to learn multiple instruments and has been involved with churches across Midwest Saskatchewan. He has helped with typical Sunday services, holiday events, youth camps, retreats, various mission trips, and church plants.

Josh is excited for the opportunity to serve the people of Lloydminster and the area.
